Одржан Концерт православних хорова – The Orthodox Choir Concert Performance

У петак 12. децембра, на дан Светог Мардарија, првог епископа Српске Цркве у Канади и Америци, у нашем храму одржан је, други по реду, Концерт православних хорова у славу и част Пресвете Богородице.

Овогодишњи концерт окупио је шест хорова. Поред српске и енглеске секције хора “Обилић”, домаћина окупљана, окупљеним гости су имали прилику да уживају у наступима хорова: Руске Цркве Св. Тројице, Румунске Цркве Свете Тројице, као и два градска хора: “Не Ждали” и “Еклектика”.

Вече је започето и окончано заједничким појањем молитве “Оче наш” и химне Пресветој Богородици “Агни Партене”.

По завршетку наступа окупљени су наставили дружење у сали храма уз посну закуску.

За следећу годину, договорено је да домаћини концерта буду браћа и сестре из Румунске Православне Цркве Свете Тројице. Концерт је заказан за 11. децембар 2026. године.

Orthodox Choir Concert in Honor of the Most Holy Theotokos

On Friday, December 12, the feast day of St. Mardarije, the first bishop of the Serbian Church in Canada and America, our parish hosted the second Orthodox Choir Concert in honor and glory of the Most Holy Theotokos.

This year’s concert brought together six choirs. In addition to the Serbian and English sections of the host choir, “Obilić,” the audience enjoyed performances by the choirs of the Russian Church of the Holy Trinity, the Romanian Church of the Holy Trinity, as well as two city choirs – “Ne Ždali” and “Eklectika.”

The evening began and concluded with the joint singing of the Lord’s Prayer and the hymn to the Most Holy Theotokos, “Agni Parthene.”

After the performances, participants and guests continued fellowship in the parish hall over a Lenten refreshment.

For next year, it has been agreed that the hosts of the concert will be the brothers and sisters from the Romanian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. The concert is scheduled for December 11, 2026.
